World War I  (15/11/2017)
Pupils are excited about our new class topic: World War I. We look forward to sharing lots of our work with you.

SATs  (13/05/2016)
Well done Year 6 who calmly and diligently completed their SAT tests. I appreciate the efforts made at home to support and prepare the year for this week.

Summer term...  (12/04/2016)
Welcome back to the Buzzards who have started the term really well. The DfE have published some guidance for parents on the SAT tests in May. Well worth having a look at and as always, pop in to ask any questions that you may have. Link below:

At the movies  (04/02/2016)
Have you seen Buzzard's Stop-Go animation of the chocolate making process? The class worked in groups for each stage of the process and used Hue animation software and digital cameras to animate what happens. A fantastic team effort.

Science investigation  (04/02/2016)
Today we have been investigating if the cocoa content of chocolate correlates with the speed at which it melts. Children have been learning about fair testing and how to conduct a scientific investigation.

Homework

Please see below for our half termly topic homework. If you have any questions, please be sure to come and see me. Remember, children have a weekly spelling test, a weekly times table test and they must keep up with their reading to move up the reading karate incentive. Thank you for your continued support. Mr Jones
